Apprentice – Production Grower (1 year fixed term)
Salary £95 per week
An apprentice grower is required to work in a team alongside technicians in the nursery and greenhouses on the High Melton College site growing seasonal vegetables and fruits using organic methods.
This is an exciting time to be working on this site a Doncaster College develops its intention to aim for self sufficiency in food production and a percentage of energy.
They will also be required to assist generally in other areas, woodland campus and animal round up.
They will be prepared to undertake and complete a horticultural NVQ Level 2.
The ability and desire to work outdoors all year round is essential to this role with weekend work also being included.
