The Governors of HATFIELD MANOR Junior School are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner for our well respected church school. We are looking for an effective and enthusiastic leader to join our leadership team and actively support our Christian ethos.
Manor Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB check and follow school Child Protection Policies and Practices
We are seeking to appoint a person who:

• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a creative and energetic approach to teaching and learning.

• Is committed to their own professional learning and is prepared to attend accredited training for SENCos
• Is keen to work collaboratively with the wider school community.
• Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Is a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Is a team player who contributes to whole school improvement.
• Enjoys working with children and has a good sense of humour.

Our school has many good qualities including pupil behaviour and pastoral support systems but was given a notice to improve by OFSTED in December 2009 based on achievement.
