The Governors of Kingfisher are seeking to appoint a Headteacher starting in January 2011 or earlier. This is due to the retirement of the previous Head.

Kingfisher is set in extensive grounds in a residential suburb of Doncaster about 2 miles from the town centre. Although the school building has celebrated its 60th birthday this year it has been maintained to a high standard and has excellent facilities that benefit all users.

Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced leader who is passionate about improving the life chances of our learners in an inclusive environment and is committed to working with all stakeholders of the school. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and management skills and be able to inspire all staff and pupils to realize their full potential.
