Hawthorn Primary School is a “good and improving school” (Ofsted 2009) that looks forward to continuing to develop with a new headteacher.

The children, parents, governors and staff are seeking a leader to embrace change in achieving our high aspirations for the success of Hawthorn.

Hawthorn Primary School is a spacious building with extensive grounds situated in a residential area of Cantley, 3 miles from Doncaster. Most children come from the local estate.

This is an exciting time to be joining Doncaster Local Authority. Our Director of Children’s Services and Assistant Director of Learners and Schools are committed to working with schools to develop a cohesive strategic approach, focusing on those factors that make the biggest difference to the quality of children’s and young people’s lives.
