We require an enthusiastic and conscientious HLTA with recent previous experience of working in a primary school with Key Stage One children to join our hardworking team.
The post requires the HLTA qualification. Candidates without HLTA status may apply as the school is willing to support the candidate through the process. However, all applicants must have GSCE or equivalent Mathematics and English. Until the HLTA qualification has been reached payment will be made at grade 5. The post will be paid at Grade 5 £10350 – £11279 per annum, until successful completion.
The successful candidate will be committed to inclusion and have the skills to support learning across the curriculum but particularly in literacy and numeracy. The role also includes responsibility for leading activities to promote physical activity, develop social skills and positive behaviour during lunchtimes.
