We prepare students for an exciting career in the creative departments of graphic design and advertising consultancies. We are looking for someone who will bring with them extensive knowledge of what it takes to survive in such a dynamic environment.
As well as possessing practical studio skills in digital and practical applications you will also be required to have relevant industrial experience in art/design and HE teaching experience and either hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. You will also need to be an articulate communicator and feel comfortable motivating and encouraging individual learners as well as leading group participation workshops and seminars.
Other duties include year group management and pastoral care, involvement in programme and curriculum development and assessment and quality management of course documentation and procedures.
You should be fully conversant with HE Quality and Assessment procedures and possess a practical knowledge of curriculum construction at degree level.
We take our work very seriously in terms of student achievement. Our students have been commended for regional and national awards, and have worked closely with business organisations on a regular basis. So, if you feel ready and willing to put your graphic design knowledge and experience back into the profession we’d love to hear from you.
