The Hayfield School is seeking to appoint an Attendance & Welfare Officer to join the existing team who support the learning and achievement of all students. The successful post holder will be expected to maximise the attendance of students at school, as well as providing additional support to students who have wider pastoral issues. Initially part-time, it is envisaged that the role will develop and operate across a number of schools (both primary and secondary) as an ‘outsourcing’ service provided by the Hayfield School.
The successful candidate will be able to:

• Show passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, and have a good understanding of their needs.
• Cope with matters of confidentiality and possible stressful situations.
• Drive, with a full driving licence and have the use of a car on a daily basis.
• Use IT to compile clear reports and collate information / statistics in a structured way as required by the school(s)
