The governors wish to appoint a Site Supervisor for October 2010. We require an enthusiastic and capable hard-worker.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will therefore need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the CRB.
Previous caretaking or site management experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful applicant will:
• share our vision of excellence in all aspects of school life and be mindful of our Catholic ethos;
• be responsible for the day to day security, health and safety, cleanliness and maintenance of the site and premises;
• report regularly on the above areas to the Governing Body;
• be required to work split shifts – early mornings and afternoons;
• be required to be available to work weekends and evenings if required;
• be required to respond promptly to the emergency alarm;
• be enthusiastic about working in an environment of children; and
• be an active member of our supportive team.
Applications must be made on the Catholic Education Service (CES) forms which are available from their website www.cesew.org.uk and should be returned to
the Chair of Governors at the school address by 12 noon Thursday 9th September 2010.
Information packs are available from the school and visits are strongly recommended. All completed application forms should be sent directly to the school.
