Doncaster Adult Services are developing at an exciting pace. We are changing the way we deliver services to adults in Doncaster and welcome opportunities to change from traditional methods of service delivery. To meet these exciting changes, we are increasing our staff numbers and welcome applications from Social Workers to help us embrace these changes.

As a Social Worker in Doncaster, you will join an experienced multi-disciplinary and supportive staff group. You will be responsible for managing a caseload which will encompass: Continuing Care, Safeguarding Adults, Reviews, Community Care Assessments and Residential and Nursing placements.

Doncaster Council are currently introducing individual budgets, which offers an innovative way to meet assessed need and empowers service users to maintain autonomy and independence for as long as possible. You will be trained in the self assessment and support planning process to enable us to achieve this aim.

Social workers in the teams contribute to the overall national indicator performance of the department, such as Safeguarding Adults, Timeliness of assessments and adults helped to live at home.
